Carrying the achievements of 'From Lausanne to Beijing-2000&2002 International Fiber Art Exhibition & Symposium', and centering on Beijing Declaration which embodies the spirit of Lausanne, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University and Fiber Art Committee of China are going to hold the 4th International Fiber Art Biennale in Suzhou on October 27, 2006. The International Fiber Art Symposium will be held at the same time. The intention of the cultural event is to show the most active thoughts and ideas in the field of fiber art in the world, to further more exchange and communication between the eastern and western art. Therefore, we promote mutual understanding and cooperation between the art colleges and universities around the globe. We welcome support and participation from Chinese and foreign colleges and universities, enterprisers, artists and academic sphere.
