During its nearly three centuries of existence, the Royal Tapestry Factorys activity has remained virtually unchanged. Nevertheless, evolution does not mean change, and the latest technological advances have been incorporated here to co-exist alongside the age-old knowledge of our craftsmen.
The Royal Tapestry Factory owes its prestige and tradition to the creation of rugs and tapestries, starting nearly three centuries ago. In the Factory, we continue to create our rugs and tapestries in the same way as our pioneers, the Vandergotens and Stuycks, using the same instruments, the same art, the same patience and the same attention to detail.
