12th International Triennial of Tapestry; Lodz 2007

Centralne Muzeum Wlokiennictwa, Lodz

The Textile Triennial is both an exhibition and a competition. The international jury will award the artistically superior and most innovative works made from textile raw materials or involving a weaving technique with the following medals: 1 gold, 2 silver, and 3 bronze. Separate medals will be awarded by the Central Textile Museum, the Lódz Branch of the Association of Polish Fine Arts Practitioners "Polish Applied Art", and the Zrecin-based "Akapi" Foundation.

Over its more than 30-year history, the Lódz Triennial, next to the Kyoto International Textile Competition and the late Lausanne International Textile Biennale, has developed into a leading specialist art exhibition and a major showcase of the world's weaving artists' achievements.

Lódz welcomes to "The 12th International Textile Triennial Lódz 2007",
the one and only event of the kind in Europe!
